Architect and House History: When orchardist James R. Dennison, a director of the San Dimas Orange Growers' Association, commissioned the Heineman & Heineman firm to design this unique two-story Craftsman Bungalow (at a cost of $12,500), the West Adams Heights neighborhood was one of Los Angeles' most exclusive settlements, with wide curving streets and monument markers at its entrances.
